Two years ago we bought a pre-owned pop-up. It had been very lightly used and was in beautiful condition. We were lucky to find it. We did see many that were really awful.
One year ago we sold the pop-up (still in beautiful condition as DH is very obsessive about how he takes care of and maintains his things) and bought a brand new travel trailer. We looked at some used stuff, but between objectionable odors, worn out and/or dirty upholstery, questionable maintenance, and a whole list of other reasons, we just did not find anything suitable. So we bought new. And I think we would do it again. But we are just those people I guess -- the ones who buy new. We've built two brand new houses also... :-)
