Yes, I was looking at portable AC units. The evaporative type is what I'm looking at. How well do they work?
It's possible that I won't get one if I find myself on a rennie circuit where it's almost always cool wherever I go, which would mean that I could use one inverter generator to only run the battery charger plus sensitive electronics like my phone charger and computer.
I'm going to Sherwood Forest Festival near Austin next month, and I have a electric site reserved in Participant camping (I'm bar-backing for Celtic Music Festival, September 20-21 and 27-28).
