My son went at daughters first was at 4 months and sons first trip was at 7 weeks. both would have been sooner if it were possible (daughter born in winter and son had complications that kept him in the hospital for a few extra weeks)
both were local trips. we tow a TT so seatbelts are no different than going to the grocery store. They love it. daughter (3 next week) is already asking when we can go since the winter has given us a warm spell
