pressure washers

Do any of you use a pressure washer to clean your RV? Is it harsh on the finish and decals? Seems like it would be useful to wash an RV, especially when you don't want to climb a tall ladder. I noticed one of the Black Friday flyers has one advertised at a good price.

    Never used a pressure washer on any of my RVs. But I've used them to strip paint off wooden fences. For this reason I've never used one on my RV's. Get the nozzle too close and there goes a hole in my fiberglass wall!

    Use very carefully. Better to soap the sides gently and rinse...but “back off” if using water under high pressure. For the roof, follow manufacturer’s recommendations. Winnebago says to clean my roof yearly, after which I seal seams, solar panel feet etc.
