The bottom line is the out the door price.
I have two deals written up by the same dealer. The end result is the same; the line items are a little different. Doesn't matter what they label costs in between whether it be PDI, delivery or processing fees.
Its the out the door cost. Know the market and what to expect the total price should be.
There is something to be said for working with a dealer that is convenient, honest and known for doing good work. I was willing to pay a little more for same. Could have driven to PA from Virginia and saved $1,500 but chose a dealer within a half hour. I think that will serve me well in the future.
