Purchasing a used TT from dealer
Hi,
This is my first time posting.
I am in the process of purchasing a used TT from a dealer.
This is my second TT. It is not used for traveling, but will be spending all it's time parked in a campground.
It is a 2007 Coachmen Spirit of America 30ft.
I have negotiated a price.
My next step is to go to the dealership and inspect the trailer before finalizing the deal.
Here are my questions.
1. What is the normal procedure at dealerships when inspecting a TT? Should I expect them to pull it out, open the pop ups, allow me access somehow to the roof, fire up the water heater, A/C, open the awning etc?
2. Do dealers offer some included 30 day warranty for items that may be broken that I am unable to see because the TT is not fully hooked up to service?
3. Will the dealer offer some additional warranty or fees I should avoid?
4. Does paying in cash benefit them and can I use it to request more money off the purchase?
5. Is the Coachmen brand/model I am considering a lesser brand/model or is it considered a decent TT? I did some research, but didn't find anything specifying it's a problematic brand or considered a lesser brand.
Thanks for any help,
iso
