I think #1 and #2 depend on the dealer. They should let you thoroughly inspect it, but it doesn't mean they will let you. Everything should work on it, unless there is something specific in the contract that says otherwise. When you do the PDI, everything should be demonstrated that it works, so there shouldn't be anything over looked.
As a previous TT owner, you know what to look for. Don't take the TT off the lot if it isn't to your liking. Unless you have it in writing that they will fix something under warranty after you leave the lot, don't take it home.
