The outdoor pens were one of our thoughts. Actually thought about putting a couple under the slide out on the curb side for shade and proximity to us. The male dog is still a pretty good jumper even at 10 years of age, which concerns us a bit. A critter of some kind wandering near the camp site might prove irresistible to him!
We had also thought about a connecting a clothesline wire from a leveling jack to the front axle and putting the leashes on the wire to keep the leashes short but allowing the dogs to move for shade under the trailer.
I'm sure we'll figure out what works for us. These were just two things we didn't anticipate in our planning and were hoping there was some "perfect solution" we just weren't aware of yet.
