Quick inverter question
We haven't been camping in so long I forgot ... when hooked up to shore power, inverter on or off. And what exactly does it do again?

I was testing yesterday with the engine running and generator on......I have a Winnebago class a 35ft....as soon as I shut down the generator the tv/sat receiver and antenna all lost power.....with generator on everything worked
tv is over my head not in my sight...lol
