I disagree with the above that you can't get a decent RV for under $20K. I have an 03 Chateau Sport 26Q and paid $12,200 (listed at $19,000). To date I have spent about $2000 on fixes and the bulk of that was 4 new rear tires. We did our research, looked for months, saw tons of junk, and walked away from everything that we had any type of bad feelings about. We ended up buying from a dealer and spent 1 day haggling on price and walked away once before we agreed on price. We paid cash and when we zeroed in on one we like we had a friend look at the engine for us. We didn't need anyone to show us the inside areas to look since this wasn't our first go around.
