Sound guy - yup the threads on the plug will deteriorate for sure :) I bought a box of them in gross and put them in my cabinet lol. I thought you meant the threads of the tank. I also have an extra hot water heater pressure relief valve in the tool bag as well :)
I haven't used the fresh water tank yet, just city water, so I haven't had to use the water pump yet.
