Really dumb extension cord Q
I believe I know the answer but want to get some clarification... If I am to use an appropriate size 15/20 amp extension cord (10 gauge) for shore power but am adapting either end up to the 3 prong...

I reread the op, the adapter for rv 30 amp to 15 amp will melt at 20 amps, I've had to replace several when I forget to turn the water heater or fridge to gas while running a single ac. SO, that's your limiting factor, only use one, don't use 2. they drop way too much voltage and that converts to heat when even slightly over 15 amps.
