"Use the propane" I get it lol... And after this trip we will be. Any place I can go online and read up on how to use the system. Im sure it states it in the manuals but Im at work and wanted to read up on stuff if I could. It cant be a simple as just turning the knob on at the tanks and viola its done. What else is involved?
Pretty much it.
Turn on the propane bottle, or one of the bottles and make sure the valve between the 2 bottles of it has 2 is directed towards the one you turned on.
Go light the stove to purge most of the Iine of air. May have to turn the stove on for 30sec? Before it will light.
Make sure the fridge is in auto mode, it usually defaults to auto (which prioritizes fridge power in this order AC, propane, DC.
You're done now. As long as the trailer battery has power (the fridge uses a little DC power in gas mode), when you unplug the shore power it will switch to propane. You can stand outside the fridge exhaust vent and listen. You'll hear the clicking of the igniter for a min or less if it doesn't ignite right away. (Still needs to purge a little in the line to the fridge). Then you'll hear it light.
Ok, maybe there's a few things to do or check, but point is, it's very quick and easy and will allow you to enjoy that feature right away.
