refrigerator on while traveling?

Thanks for all your responses. We haven't used an rv for travel since 1978 and a little 18' Road Runner. Last RV we had was a 29 foot R-Vision we had for 3 years. Only time we slept in it was when the power went out in our house for two days. We slept in the rv in the drive way. We had great plans for it but we both worked and week ends were not an option. We had different days of the week off so never got it out. Now retired and hope our plans work out a little better. We are headed for Redding CA. around April 5. Looking forward to breaking in the new 5er.
