Are you talking leg room in the driver's seat? The E series chassis doesn't have a great deal of leg/foot room, what with the engine on one side and the wheel on the other. No RV maker is going to be able to significantly improve on that while using the same chassis. The equivalent Chevy chassis and the Sprinter chassis (and, I believe, the Ram Promaster chassis) are better in that regard.
(I'm not sure I entirely see how reclining the seat helps with leg room; it seems to me it mainly increases torso and arm room.)
