- PWRmx24ExplorerThanks for the replies.
- DustytuuExplorerIf you are camping and see a brand of trailer or 5th wheel you are interested in, ask them questions about their 5th whee/trailer. Most people like to talk about their trailers or trucks and etc.
- kellemExplorerHaving a formidable tow vehicle would be top priority then you can weed through all the pros and cons about a particular unit.
We did check out the manufacturers forum while researching. - Matt_ColieExplorer IIPWR,
There are reviews all over the place, but you have to go find them.
Two things you should remember:
If an owner tells you to buy one like his, listen carefully.
If an owner tells you to NOT buy one like his, Believe Him.
Matt - craig7hNomad IIYou are going to find in your adventure, that everybody feels their unit is the best one.
Each mfg will have its good and bad, you will read more bad stuff about units than you will good. Its just the way it is, its easier to complain about something than it is to say good things.
You need to do your search by looking at as many units as you can. Find something that works for you, then start reading and asking questions about the unit. I think you will find that helpful. - bikendanExplorer

Is there a place on this forum to find reviews and opinions on make/model of 5th wheels? Thanks.
Nope. as was said, you can post your questions in the 5th Wheel forum. Or visit the make's owners forum websites. they usually have a separate 5th wheel sub-forum. - 1492ModeratorNot specifically. Best to ask questions regarding models in the Fifth-Wheels Forum.
