Yes and don't overlook the fact that there are no lower end and few high end RVs made to live in consistantly for any length of time. This is especially true if there is any sort of winter weather where you are hold up for an extended period of time.
IMO at 2-6K cost you are going to get an older standard quality RV that is going to need consistent and ongoing maintenance which unless you have the tools, ability, location to do such maintenance (many CGs don't allow much work on trailers in their parks) you are going to pay someone $100/hr or more to do it for you and you won't have use of the RV when it's being worked on normally.
