If you are determined to try this.
I'll suggest this route.
Buy a van, full sized American made. You can get used work vans with reasonable miles 80k -100k that should give you something with towing capability and only run you 2000 to 3000 (pay less, but new tires, brakes etc will push you to there)
If your handy, build out a bed with storage as Wells has shown, Very little money
Now decide if you still want a trailer. The little plywood Ham you showed, is 5' x 8' go sit on a queen bad. Imagine one foot of space above the head of the bed and then walls going up on all four sides, thats the size you were proposing. Awful tight, table? chair? cabinet storage?
If you are still looking to try this, next start travelling to find a trailer for your other $3000. The little eggs will be higher quality than many other brands and yes one can be found, and the half ton van will tow it easily. But you may have to visit and view several before finding one worth working with, and since you will have a van with a bed, your free to travel to check them out.
No matter how you slice it, the vehicle should be the first consideration, living unit next, and looking at the age your finances force, I would not consider a motorhome, a mechanical failure, blown engine could cost you both your transportation and your house.
If the van breaks down , you can still stay in the trailer, if the trailer becomes a loss, you still have the van.
You got angry earlier over a get a job comment, well I will ask, How do you intend to make a living, even Bob has to pay for food, insurance, gas etc. What is your plan?
Do you have a technical skill that allows you to earn a reasonable living over the web? If so, now you need to add high speed web service to the monthly bills, if not , where do you make a living while Nomading?
Just remember those folks in Bobs videos mostly talk about getting by on low incomes, and many are happier where they are because they prefer to live on open range locations in the lifestyle they can afford because its safer than the urban location they would otherwise be forced to stay in. Its not usually how they would want to live, its how they can best get by with their station in life.
I'll suggest this route.
