Love people who ask for advice then argue with the person offering the advice. Here's my 2 cents: 1. RV's and campers are not for full time living. They require constant fixing and money. 2. Lot rents in Florida go up in the winter to average of $800 per month plus electricity. 3. You cannot boon dock in some states. 4. In Florida you cannot live in an RV full time unless it's in an RV park or permanently installed on property zoned for it. (read the law). 5. You will need insurance on both the truck and the camper. That's not cheap if they are registered in FL. 6. You will both have to work. 7. Going out west is very expensive. 8. Fuel is a big cost in RV travels. 9. What about health insurance? what happens if one of you gets sick? Can it be done? Yes. For your budget? I doubt it. For a realistic look at full time RV living I would read www.interstellarorchard.com blog with an open mind especially the beginning where she talks about her planning and saving money and having a bank account for emergencies after she purchased her truck and camper. She also gives information about working on the road. I don't think your current plan is realistic.
