Ace, if your still here, Please read all the posts and disregard the snarky remarks. There is still a lot of good info here. One question you did not answer, can you do your own repairs or not. That is going to be the deciding factor in your plans.
If you can do most repairs on a TT you will save a bunch of money. If you you can't do any repairs your plan is not workable. Even a minor repair can cost a couple hundred.
I think you need to check out some campgrounds in the area you want to stay at and get real prices, not someone elses opinion. Talk to the CG owners and any other year round residents. The internet and forums are a wonderful thing, but get out there and get some first hand info.
You may find your dream, or a nightmare, but you are young enough to rebound if things go south.
