There's a salvage yard near where I live that stores them on their property and parts them out on a do it yourself basis. You bring your own tools, remove the part(s) you need and pay on the way out. At some point down the road, they put what's left in a car crusher and haul it away to be melted down. They don't pay the owner very much, but an RV is really hard to throw away and they know it.
