RV Finance Company

Hello to all and thanks in advance,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent finance company. I will most likely buy from a private seller and would like to borrow $ in this fashion. Is anyone familiar with a loan in order to pay a private seller? The loan will most likely be no more than 15k. Thanks
  • You most likely have to look at a bigger motorhome. Essex/Bank of the West won't usually look at less than $50K.

X2, Essex and B.O.W. are 2 of the biggest in RV loans. My last two RV's were financed through B.O.W.
  • Got a good rate through 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union.

But responses are correct. Any bank that does RV/Motorcycle/Boat loans will do. Check with your own bank first and go from there.

  • We used our local Credit Union. They didn't care if it was a private sale or from a dealer.
  • Your best option is to get a pre-approval from your own bank or a credit union. Credit unions seem far more willing to lend money for an RV.
