RV park or resort?
I know this is a beginner's question, but what exactly is the official difference between a CG/RV park and a resort? To me, a RV park is usually a "sardine alley" -- park your rig so your slides don'...

CG....state/national park/city park, can have FHUs but sites are usually well spaced and some what private
RV Park......can be grassy sites, dirt roads, paved roads, concrete pads, typically FHUs, sites are decent but close, can have pool/play ground etc. (KOA is an example)
RV Resort......Pools/spas, BBQs at site, fire places, concrete parking, grassy manicured sites, fancy landscaping, hooty-tooty, etc.
Been in a few that called themselves 'Resort' but where really just parks. Been in a few that called themselves 'Parks' and really could have advertised as 'Resort' due to the amenities.
You'll know which is which when you pull in.
