RV Restrictions in Colorado

Aspen will be the hardest only because everything is kind of compact. Grand Junction and Colorado Springs should not be a problem, lots of big wide open parking lots in those locations.

If you have a very set schedule, I would encourage you to make reservations for your camp spots if at all possible instead of relying on finding free camping or first come first serve. Colorado is very crowded in the summer even during normal years, and many of the campgrounds fill up very quickly. You can reserve at State Parks 6 months in advance. This year, even the First Come First Serve spots at the more popular locations are full on weekdays.

Rent the 24 footer, it is easier to maneuver than the 26 because of the rear overhang, when entering parking spaces or lots try to park in such a way that you drive forward without having to turn arround with 6 to 8 point moves, and plan the entry so that you do not get blocked in by inconsiderate people.

Mesa verde is accesible with a small RV both in the visitor center and the cliff houses, some tourist atractions have passenger bus parking areas park there at the far end and walk to the enrtance or attraction, some tour operators get anoied at Rv,s parked near the entrance.

Some sites have small parking areas that a MH won't fit into. Overall, you should have little problem, though.

I would have no concerns finding adequate parking in those locations.

I've rented a class C in Denver Yes you can park, problem is can you fit? I always had to get there early or be prepared to walk quite a distance. BTW took it up to the top of Pike's peak, switchbacks can be done just have to wait for oncoming traffic to clear the other lane

Most of the time in Colorado, and yes we'll spend 2 days in Utah to visit Arches and Canyonlands. Rules are different with RV day parking?

Moab and arches are not in Colorado.
