Sale on Inverter Genny

Just saw that the Amazon deal of the day (today, January 7, 2016) is a WEN 2000 watt (1600 rated) super quiet inverter genny. Though some folks in here might be interested. You know where to look if you're interested.
  • Looks like they sold out. Too bad. Now they got some boots and a fitness tracker to replace it. ;-) I got mine.
  • That was a good price. I wonder how many they actually had available at the sale price?
  • What was the sale price. I just looked at Amazon and it is listed for $485 and in stock.
  • Amazon has those for sale frequently, at least once a month on their other deal site: woot.com

    Edit frequently $249, refurbished

Yea, they showed "In Stock" but when I went to check out suddenly they were all gone. Glad you got one.
  • Quick update to this thread. Genny seems to be legit. When run in ECO mode, very low idle, can't even here it when driving up to your RV in your truck with the windows down. At first I thought it must've quit. It does get a little louder as more loads are put on, but nowhere near the annoyance of my Champion 4000. It runs everything but the air conditioner. Running the 900w microwave while the coverter is doing a full-on boost mode charge will cause it to growl at you and flash it's red eyes. 13.8 amp is what it says it can give ya. Really love it. Used it this weekend when our destination plans changed from a full hookup to a no hookup site. If my air conditioner is ever not needed, this will be my go-to genny.

    Which Generator was it anyway?

    Was the WEN 2000 Inverter/genny
  • Thanks for the heads up. They can be paralleled, so if it ever drops to $250 or so again, I'll snarf a pair just as an el cheap backup to have around. The parallel kit is about $50... not too bad.
