A few things to consider... Do you really want a big truck to use as a daily driver, go site seeing, running to the store? How comfortable are you backing up a fifth wheel, boat, trailer? Many campgrounds such as KOA’s have laundry facilities that are usually open 24/7 so I’m not sure it should be high on your list of needs. If you were planning on living in the RV full time then yes opt for a w/d. Before you swap vehicles decide what type RV you really want by going to a big dealer and check out a class C, class A, and of course a fifth wheel. Compare real storage area, tank sizes, livability. Some class C’s allow use of the front seats while parked, some don’t.
