- old_guyExplorerI use fresh water after I dump black then grey. some people forget that the grey water that is left over in the hose stinks just as bad as the black.
- JimK-NYExplorer III have a tube in the bumper that is designed to hold the hose. That seems disgusting. In addition there is no ventilation so any water would stay in the metal compartment and cause rusting. I set up a rope under the bumper. I unhook on end of the rope, slide hose onto the rope and snap it on the eye hook.
- NMDriverExplorerI like to let mine drag along the road for a few miles to air out :)
I see many other RVers do the same thing judging by the number of sewer hoses I see along the interstate. - lj2654ExplorerI drain the gray water last and cap the hose on both ends and set in my storage bin...
- LantleyNomadDump grey last and put it away. No freshwater required.

Flush with grey water, short rise with fresh water. Then slide it into the 5" vinyl fence post carrier under the trailer.

:) - Dutch_12078Explorer IIILike the others, I dump the gray last. Then I connect the two ends together and stow it in our "dump stuff" bin with the extra hoses, threaded elbow, donuts, accordion support, etc.
- Jayco-noslideExplorerI don't think much about it. Run some plain water through it at the final camp site and that's it. Even if I couldn't run water through it I wouldn't give it a thought. However, we do try to avoid putting solids down our stool which helps not to worry about it.
- FizzExplorerI keep it in a large water proof IKEA tote bag. $1.00
- K_CharlesExplorerDump the gray last and put a cap at the end of the hose and stuff it in the wet bay.
