I never used to, then we got water from a campground that gave a bad sulphur smell. Took a while to get rid of that stench. Now we drain ALL the water after every trip. All I do is open my low point drains and slightly crack open one of the faucets as we drive away. Opening the faucet breaks the vacuum and allows all the water to drain out of the lines and water heater.
No smell, no worries.
