slideouts
I have been wondering why so many people store their campers with the slideouts pulled out. Even in the winter people have them out and I was just wondering if I am missing something.

- Sounds like when it was professionally cleaned, someone didn't put something back on/together correctly.

I agree with this. We use ours for a guest room too but when not in use close it up. Birds like to build nests in the slide mechanisms and under the slide toppers.- If you're using it, that's one thing, but I can't imagine why anyone would want to store an RV with the slide out?
Bill - You mean you can pull them back in once you put them out :H
If set up 'permanent' folks just leave them be. - I use our TT as a guest house at the cottage. It's been parked there for three years with the slide out. No problems at all.
