Since my wifes passing three years ago, I've taken a fair number of solo trips. Nothing that was nearly as extended as we used to take but some a fair amount of distance. I found nothing that was very challenging about it other than it just isn't as much fun as traveling with Charlotte. I sometimes have to get in and out of the truck a couple of more times when hitching up but that's nothing that concerns me. For what it's worth, my little Spaniel is no help at all in aligning the hitch :)
