Stupid question time /sanitizing black water tank

If there is no smell, I wouldn't worry about sanitizing. It's not likely you are going to eat out of it or handle it( I hope). I would just get a clear elbow to put between the gate and the stinky slinky. Flush until no chunks and clear water come out. As far as dumping at home, there are options as mentioned above.
