Stupid question time /sanitizing black water tank

Newbie here. Just bought a toy hauler and want to clean the black tank out. Only used it once so far and just dumped at the dump site. I don't have a clear hose or anything yet. there aren't any odors...

No need to sanitize. It is good to keep a few gallons of water in it at all times to make sure stuff does not solidify. To the water add some dish detergent which should help keep the sensors clean. Do not put anything in the black tank other than TP.
