Stupid question time /sanitizing black water tank

Newbie here. Just bought a toy hauler and want to clean the black tank out. Only used it once so far and just dumped at the dump site. I don't have a clear hose or anything yet. there aren't any odors...

To the original poster...don't make this RV'ing thing more complicated than it is.

Follow 2oldman's advice.

Remember, you don't "sanitize" you sewer system at home do you?
