Stupid question time /sanitizing black water tank

Newbie here. Just bought a toy hauler and want to clean the black tank out. Only used it once so far and just dumped at the dump site. I don't have a clear hose or anything yet. there aren't any odors...

Regarding the use of deodorizers.
The waste tanks are sealed except for the roof vents and if there is odor that doesn't come from a vent there is a problem that needs to be fixed. I have never used anything in my tanks except water and no, there is no odor in my RV and no, I am not just used to it.
