Stupid question time /sanitizing black water tank

Newbie here. Just bought a toy hauler and want to clean the black tank out. Only used it once so far and just dumped at the dump site. I don't have a clear hose or anything yet. there aren't any odors...

If concerned about left over solids, fill it with water and let it sit between trips, there won't be any solids.

For us, we dump and go, it is a black water holding tank, I really don't care if there are remnants. Only time I flush the tank is in November because it will be stored dry for five months.
