Suggestions

The F150 is limited for fifth wheels. A trailer would better fit your tow vehicle. Get the specifications for your F150 and buy a trailer that is within the limits.

You would need to be a small 5er, but even with a TT about 30' to 32' could be max before the tail starts to wag the dog.

You will be limited in which 5ers you cold pull with your current tow vehicle, with travel trailer you will have many more possibilities to choose from.

What will you be using to pull the TT?

In seven years we have been in 45 states with a travel trailer.
We chose travel trailer because we thought is was less expensive than 5th wheel.
Travel trailer for the most part is not as tall as a 5th wheel (low hanging limbs).
Don't have to reach as high to wash.
Not as far to fall if I fell off the roof.
That's a short list.
Our trailer is 38' tip to tip. We stay in rv parks with full hookups.
