Sunday Dump Day?

Some interstate rest stops have free dumping, pay attention to signs before the exit.

Where are you that ALL state parks have dump stations?
Maybe in your state but not necessarily true for other states.

We dump at home. We are on city sewer and have a clean out in the front yard, I just hook up stinky slinky and clean our system good every time we get home.

$20 seems a bit high. The Ameri-camps CG near my house charges about $10 IIRC. However, since I buy my propane there, they let me dump for free. I try to dump where I am, in order to travel with empty black and gray tanks, but sometimes that's not possible.

I can get propane elsewhere cheaper, but for me it's a good trade off.

There is a camping world nearby whose proper dump is inside the fence. However this is a white dump lid outside the fence. I was thinking about using that. Has anyone done that without getting in trouble?

Here in Ontario it seems front yard sewer cleanouts are a rarity, certainly I don't have one so I instead installed a T in the house main sewer stack. In my case that happens to be in the laundry room ... once installed I ran an extension to the outside world where I can drop in the hose from my Flojet Waste Macerator.





Been using this for years to service my tanks at home, works like a charm, never have to waste time at a dump station. :B

Interesting topic.
I live in Canada an hour east of Dawson Creek where the Alaska highway begins. I could stop at a provincial park to dump for free but I like paying $5 at our town campsite which is always kept nice and clean. I want to encourage the town to keep this service.

X2 on the macerator. That may solve your problem.
