Surge Protector
Is it necessary to have a surge protector? I've had several people say as long as you're in a good park you should be okay.

What's considered a good park? What's considered a bad park?
They are worthless until you need one. We bought one this past year. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and never had it.
YEP sorta like car and home insurance and over the last 40 years they amount paid between those two with only two homeowners and one car clains PAILS in comparison to the amount I spent on my PI unit that has saved me on at least 4 occasions in the last 6 years.
