Surge Protector
Is it necessary to have a surge protector? I've had several people say as long as you're in a good park you should be okay.

We have not encountered any mis-wired pedestals but encounter both low and high voltage all the time. We are super cautious and check the pedestal for correct wiring before we plug in. Our Progressive Industries EMS was factory installed and one of the best low cost options we purchased when having our 5th wheel built. You can hear the EMS allow power through to the 5th wheel as it makes an audible click.
