Sorry for all your losses, husband, motor home and car. Please don't give up yet, hopefully the insurance will be enough that maybe you can get at least a smaller one to keep on traveling with.
I don't like to give advice, I usually share only my experience, but this is both..
I did not take the first amounts offered by the insurance company. Pictures, documentation, anything to show what condition your vehicles were in could help.
Glad you were not seriously hurt, that is the main thing. It might take awhile, but keep the faith.
I, too, rv alone, since I lost my husband. I would not just give up and give in too easy.
Hope this was a wakeup call for the young man who hit you.
