I'm "that guy". The insurance company offered me the retail value of the truck and trailer, and not the trade in value. they also increased the value on each for some upgrades that I'd had installed. Granted, due to the age of your vehicles, you'll likely have a pretty diminished value due to depreciation. However, if you want to purchase used vehicles of approximately the same vintage, the insurance settlement will likely allow you to do so.
