When it's too cold we head south. When we feel like stopping we get off when the sign says camping this exit. We do stop over at places we have been when we are traveling. We don't know what people eat or do in there free time and we like to find that out when we stop.We don't like places that other people say are great and we have found some out of the way places that we love. We are on the do at about 150 or 200 days a year, never make reservations and only found a full campground once in the last 35 years.

Once the pop up leaves, I will be able to read and see what your talking about.

We work remotely so we have to find a campsite to settle into with good internet or we are in a world of trouble come Monday. We also have been without a campsite three times now in three months.. you must have a much better picker! One day we'll be free from reservations but for now, that's what works for us :)

Really some mean spirited comments here. I checked out the site, very professional looking. It didn't stick anything on my computer, and unless I subscribe it doesn't have my email address. The only popup was the subscription request, which I clicked off. I use Chrome with Ad Block.

This was posted in the "Beginning RVing" forum, so that seems appropriate too for the type of info on the blog. Also some nice photos too.

I thought RVers were generally nicer people than what this thread has shown. Must be cabin fever setting in. :h

Great blog. I've been on it a couple of times in the last two weeks. Don't listen to the old farts on this forum. They'll p@#$ and moan about anything that might be new or great especially if they didn't come up with it. Others post just for sake of posting something so they can be in the 10,000 posts or more club.

We need fresh young ideas. Keep going and don't let these negative comments get you down.

You, my new best friend, are the greatest! We are only 30 so I guess we are more used to the idea of social media...aka sharing information on the web with each other.

I'm no computer expert or internet expert, but to me clicking on those only tracks you and gets you junk mail and hacking. I don't click the little X's , I just click out of the site. I'm glad we were warned.

Most modern browsers have a feature called pop-up blocker. Firefox has addons that block ads. Check it out.

Now all you grumpy people - go hug your camper - it will be OK. Spring is coming....

Now it's true I use AdBlocker (free) on most all my electronic devices so I can't see ads on ANY site but I sure saw a lot on Woodall's before installing an app to my new to me android system.
