When it's too cold we head south. When we feel like stopping we get off when the sign says camping this exit. We do stop over at places we have been when we are traveling. We don't know what people eat or do in there free time and we like to find that out when we stop.We don't like places that other people say are great and we have found some out of the way places that we love. We are on the do at about 150 or 200 days a year, never make reservations and only found a full campground once in the last 35 years.

Once the pop up leaves, I will be able to read and see what your talking about.

We work remotely so we have to find a campsite to settle into with good internet or we are in a world of trouble come Monday. We also have been without a campsite three times now in three months.. you must have a much better picker! One day we'll be free from reservations but for now, that's what works for us :)

Why would a newb come on here and profess to being able to give a bunch of obviously seasoned RV'ers "tips"?
(Which are nothing new BTW)

Not just like everyone else. Your site appears to be heavily into advertising (which causes us to chew up more data when using your site) which earns you money. I pay $100/year to keep advertising off our blog!

A lot of good basic information that's helped to "unfog" my brain as I decide to camp in a new way and place upstate NYS (boat camping).

I find that using organisational skills are the answer to many questions and the winter is good for that in the NE.
