Thanks to all for your fast and thorough comments. A wise man learns from experience, but the wisest man learns from the experience of others. Thank you all, again, for your thoughtful replies. It seems clear I must make a choice, and it isn't really a hard one. If the weather's nice, and it's a short trip, then the HD elevates. Longer trips, flat tow wins.
I take plenty of weekend adventures on the HD, so it's not like I'd regret towing my car/truck. Guess I was looking for a way to have both, and tapped,into this forum to convince me it would be a stretch.... on the other hand, do they make an enclosed Trike?
