Towing a vehicle behind motorhome

I have a 2015 jeep Cherokee 4 wd I plan to tow behind motorhome 4 wheels down. Will a class c with ford v10 have enough power to do this? I plan to buy either a 31' class c or 34-35' class a gas. I favor the c because I have been told that the handling will be better?
