brochure/website "dry" weights are fantasy numbers.
no trailer weighs its "dry" weight when it leaves the factory.
on smaller trailers, going by the GVWR is a good idea, since they generally don't have large CCC(cargo carrying capacity)numbers.
either going by the trailer's factory weight sticker amount(outside yellow sticker on newer trailer/inside white sticker on older trailers) or weigh the trailer, are the best options.
