Back in the 90's we towed a 20' travel trailer (about 4K lbs when full) with our Chevy Astro Van. Generally it worked out fine, but one time we got to swaying on the highway and it almost got away from me. Thankfully I was able to keep it from going out of control. We traded that van for something with more stability within the next month.
