What size is that gooseneck...........2" or 2 5/16" ???
What size ball do you have???

Gooseneck trailers are BUILT to be towed using a ball
5th wheel trailers are built to be towed using 5th wheel hitch
Just compare a gooseneck trailer design to a 5th wheel.
Your trailer....tow it way you like.
But if you want to 'FIX' it for better towing....get a 5th wheel hitch
