TPMS. Necessary or just peace of mind?
Pulling a 31' toy hauler with an F350 dually. How important is it to have a TPMS? Just how frequently are trailer tires blowing out around here? This would be an aftermarket for truck and trailer...

Not sure where you travel but I see a lot of large truck tire debris when I travel. Just did a short run of 160 miles one way and I bet I saw at least a dozen truck tire treads that had not been cleaned off the highway.
Likely retreads. While they ought to be outlawed not really applicable to RV tires.
Re-treads are commonplace for aircraft, tires are changed if they cannot hold pressure or if cords are showing, I wonder how much different this is to truck retreading?
