Traveling by RV is extremely enjoyable. That's why we do it. However, it is by no means a more affordable way to tour the country. It is very expensive, i.e., initial cost, maintenance, fuel, unanticipated breakdown expenses, etc. :@
To us, it is all worth the price we have to pay to enjoy the outdoors and waking up to all the sights and sounds nature has to offer. ;)
